The Australian actor, 24, is joining the cast of Eclipse, the third film in the extremely popular Twilight franchise, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Samuel is set to play Riley – a good-looking vampire (are there any other kind?) – who joins the villain Victoria in a plot to kill Bella, played by Kristen Stewart. This is his first U.S. role.
Filming for Eclipse is set to begin in Vancouver next month with director David Slade at the helm.
