The "Milkshake" singer gave birth to son Knight Jones around 9 p.m. Wednesday in New York City. The baby weighed in at 7 lbs., 8 oz.
Kelis, 29, delivered naturally with her mother and sister by her side after about 31 hours of labor, according to her rep. "The beautiful baby boy and his mother are doing wonderful," she said in a statement.
Kelis and Nas, who are in the process of divorcing, announced the pregnancy in February.
Knight is the first child for Kelis and the second for Nas, 35, who has a 15-year-old daughter, Destiny, from a previous relationship.
