Brad Pitt still causes hearts to flutter at age 45, but the father of six says he loves settling into a more mature stage of life.
"I'm not a kid anymore – I have six kids," he told the German newspaper BILD while promoting his new Quentin Tarantino flick Inglorious Basterds. Pitt will attend the film's Berlin opening on July 28.
Rubbing his beard, Pitt said he isn't afraid of getting old. "No, I like it," he said. "It's good."
These days the actor spends his time being a domestic god. "I get going early, make breakfast. Dress the kids. Brush their teeth. Take them to school," he said.
And mornings in the Jolie-Pitt household can get a bit crowded when all six kids climb into their bed. "We have a 9-foot wide bed – it's not big enough. In the morning everyone comes in. It's all just about survival. We all suffer from sleep deprivation," he explained.
The actor said there is nothing he would change, adding that he is "on the track I want to be." He also makes it a point to find time to spend with his partner, Angelina Jolie, even in a full house.
"We make time for ourselves," he said. "Its very important for every relationship."
