The 30-minute sunset beach ceremony was welcoming and colorful, and the reception had an emphasis on natural elements like dark wood tables, white linens and sea-glass-colored linens, according to sources.
The Culver City-based organic restaurant Akasha catered the five-course dinner with a menu that was New American and seasonal. The wedding cake, by Susina bakery, was a traditional white and decorated with garden roses of all colors.
To celebrate Rubin's Russian heritage, guests enjoyed a pre-wedding cocktail reception. Handed out as party favors were limited-edition prints from an original painting by Patssi Valdez commissioned for the wedding.
