Caught in the Act!

• Leighton Meester and boyfriend Sebastian Stan, sharing champagne during a brunch party at Day & Night Restaurant & Beach Club in Southampton, N.Y. The two were partying poolside – in a cabana – alongside Mischa Barton.

• Britney Spears, going on a shopping spree at Vionnet boutique on L.A.'s Robertson Blvd. The tanned and happy singer, who sported a minidress, picked up items from the store's in-house clothing label, Decolette, including several lace-trimmed slip dresses in every color and jewelry from Soixante Neuf and Indulgems.

• During her recent New York visit, Paula Abdul made sure she didn't neglect her fans during dinner out at DelFrisco's in midtown Manhattan. Despite busily chatting on her phone throughout the entire dinner, the former American Idol judge said hello to a table of female fans. "She was friendly," says an onlooker.

• Nicky Hilton, affectionately stealing fries off boyfriend David Katzenberg's plate during dinner with a female friend at Table Eight in L.A. In between bouts of texting, Hilton also leaned in and whispered with her beau when their friend left the table. The group enjoyed their early meal – then took off before the neighborhood joint filled up at 8 p.m.
