Taylor Swift Admires Rihanna's 'Amazing' Style

With the MTV Video Music Awards coming up Sept. 13, Taylor Swift, who's set to perform for the first time at this year's bash in New York City, is looking for fashion inspirations.

"I think with the VMAs it's all about color and being risky," Swift says in an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the country starlet's West Side Story-themed VMA promo, which will start airing on MTV on Friday night.

Whose style standard is she following?

"I think Rihanna has always been amazing at the VMAs," she says. "Everything that she's decided to do as far as fashion on the red carpet, she takes chances."

Swift, 19, knows what she's performing at the show – a fresh version of her song "You Belong With Me" from her hit album Fearless – but her outfits are another story.

"I actually have no idea what I'm going to wear for my performance," she says, "or the red carpet so I better get on that."
