• Pete Wentz celebrated the first anniversary of his Chicago bar Angels & Kings – and his love for wife Ashlee, who partied by his side. After performing in the Windy City with his band Fall Out Boy, Wentz headed to the bar, where he cuddled with his wife at their VIP table. Simpson was drinking champagne casually throughout the night and also had a long conversation with her friend. When Wentz headed over to deejay booth to sing "Happy Birthday" to the club, he also dedicated Oasis's "Wonderwall" to Ashlee, singing along to the song and pointing at her across the room. And she returned the affection, mouthing "I love you" at her hubby and blowing him kisses. Contrary to online reports of any disagreement between the couple, an eyewitness says the two were "both smiling the whole time and rocking out to the music."

• Newly engaged Anna Paquin enjoyed the sunny Santa Monica weather on her bicycle, taking a ride around the beach with her fiancé Stephen Moyer's ex-girlfriend, British journalist Lorien Haynes, and his 7-year-old daughter, Lilac. "Anna and Lorien acted like they were old friends," an eyewitness tells us of the pair. Adds the eyewitness: "Anna also seemed to get along fine with Stephen's daughter Lilac."

• America Ferrera, brunching at Five Points in New York City along with boyfriend Ryan Piers Williams. The casually dressed pair ordered the same dish and snuck in kisses at the table. When it was time to go, the Ugly Betty star paid for the meal and the two left hand-in-hand.

• Newlyweds Anna Faris and Chris Pratt, hiking Runyon Canyon in Hollywood. "Anna wouldn't let go of Chris's hand during their hour-long hike," an eyewitness says. The couple brought their pug Bonzo along for the walk and "looked very happy together," the eyewitness says. Faris also made sure to keep her hubby hydrated, sharing her water bottle with him.

• Mad Men star Jon Hamm, sipping a cocktail with a friend at L.A. nightspot Teddy's over the weekend. Meanwhile, in the back, Adam Brody held a mini-O.C. reunion, sharing a table with former costar Benjamin McKenzie and Big Love's Daveigh Chase. The group opted for a low-key night, enjoying their bottle service and casual conversation. Brody seemed especially mellow, a clubgoer tells us, noting that the actor didn't dance and just hung out and chatted with Chase.
