Former Girls Next Door star Kendra Wilkinson is settling down – and so is her onetime costar Bridget Marquardt.

Marquardt and her boyfriend, horror film director Nick Carpenter, are cohabitating.

"We just moved in together," Marquardt told PEOPLE Monday at Nylon magazine's Fall TV & Fashion issue party. "It's mostly my stuff. I have like a whole storage unit. My room in the [Playboy] mansion was stock full, but in the house it just doesn't look [as big]. I don't have any furniture."

But hold off on buying the housewarming gift: First, Marquardt will throw a baby shower for Wilkinson on Sept. 9. As for how her former costar is handling married life and impending motherhood, Marquardt says she's noticed a major change.

"She's not the same girl," Marquardt says of Wilkinson, who is expecting a son with husband Hank Baskett. "She's matured so much, become much more responsible so much more domesticated."

And Marquardt is growing up, as well. The reality star, who has a passion for the color pink, says she and her beau have had to make a few compromises when it comes to decorating their home.

"It sounded like we had opposite tastes but then we started talking about it and found out how we can merge together," Marquardt says. "We found a style that we both liked that we improved on ... There are like three personalities – the personality of the house, and then each of us. I'm more girly but I also wanted to pull off the vintage, Hollywood glamour slightly circus style."
