Audrina Patridge Promises a 'Real' Reality Show About Her Life

Audrina Patridge

Ever get the feeling that the reality show The Hills isn't quite, well, real?

Audrina Patridge is with you 100 percent. She says it was time for her to leave the show that made her famous.

"I'm an adult now, and I don't need all the petty drama and drinking and fighting," Patridge, 24, says in the October issue of Maxim, on sale Sept. 22. "I've done that, and I'm ready to move on."

As for onetime BFFs Lauren Conrad and Heidi Montag, they're old news as well.

"I barely talk to Lauren. We'll text every now and then, but that's about it," she says. "Heidi, um, keeps asking me to go to Bible study with her."

(Apparently, Montag is a forgiving person – Patridge recently publicly dismissing Montag's singing career.)

Yes, it's all about the future for Audrina, specifically the new show all about her, sans her former blonde castmates. Produced by Survivor executive producer Mark Burnett, her as-yet-untitled series will be a reality show about – gasp! – reality.

"It's a behind-the-scenes look at my life in L.A. – the movies and shoots and parties," she says. "It's not as glamorous as it appears, plus it'll actually feature people I know. It's, like, real."
