Ella Betsi Evans Gruffudd was born Sunday in Los Angeles. She weighed 6 lbs., 3 oz. and was 21 inches long.
The couple, who met while filming 2000’s 102 Dalmatians and wed in 2007, announced the pregnancy in April.
Gruffudd, 35, and Lost actress Evans, 38, knew the sex of the baby prior to delivery, but they kept it private.
"I’m sure we have no idea what we are heading into," Gruffudd told PEOPLE in July of impending parenthood. "But we both love each other so much and really hope that we will create an environment of love and happiness."
