Any kid knows to turn lemons into lemonade – but it takes Conan O'Brien to turn a concussion into comedy gold.
The late-night talk-show host, who was hospitalized on Friday when he slipped and hit his head on the floor while filming a skit in which he raced actress Teri Hatcher, made fun of his accident back on the set of The Tonight Show Monday.
He even joked he'd hurt himself again with another Desperate Housewives star. "So tune in tomorrow when Eva Longoria pushes me down an elevator shaft," O'Brien said during the monologue..
O'Brien, 45, was in a race with Hatcher when he slipped at the finish line the TV show's studio, falling backwards and hitting his head against floor. On Monday, he said he didn't remember much about the accident, which sent him to a Los Angeles hospital for a few hours for what he described as a "slight concussion."
NBC aired a rerun of the show instead of broadcasting a new show that night.
