• Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, hanging out at a private party at Players Chophouse, a restaurant in Vancouver. "Rob and Kristen stayed pretty close together throughout the night, often going outside to chat with other guests they seemed to know," a source tells us. The couple mingled with Twilight costars like Kellan Lutz and Ashley Greene and checked out the night's musical entertainment courtesy of costar Jackson Rathbone's band 100 Monkeys. A few days later, Pattinson and Stewart grabbed dinner with friends at Cin Cin restaurant. "Rob and Kristen were seated beside each other and very close all night," said an onlooker.

• Kate Hudson and Alex Rodriguez, lunching with her son Ryder, 5, at Serafina Fabulous Grill on New York's Upper East Side. They sat on the front terrace, where the actress was busy on her BlackBerry while A-Rod chatted with Ryder over pasta and pizza. The baseball star also chatted up a young fan who approached the table and asked if he'd sign an autograph – which he happily did.

• It was not a boys' night out like usual for Leonardo DiCaprio, who flirted with female clubgoers and even exchanged numbers with one while partying at Teddy's inside the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel. The usually reserved actor grabbed a seat next to the deejay booth where Benji Madden was spinning, danced a bit and even seemed to have his eye on a few ladies, too. Also there: Avril Lavigne's ex Deryck Whibley, acting quite mellow, while hanging with his guy pals.

• A suit sporting Nick Cannon, trying out the Kung Fu exercise at the Wii Fit Plus Fitness Club in L.A., after arriving from the airport.

• A chatty Brittny Gastineau, enjoying a blow-out and trim at the MGD 64 Beauty Bash at Gavert Atelier in Beverly Hills. Among the topics of conversation: her pal Khloe Kardashian's recent quickie nuptials.
