BUZZ: Are Katy Perry and Russell Brand Dating?

What are they Tweeting and not telling?

Katy Perry and British comedian Russell Brand have caused a flurry of speculation that they may be dating after both recently Tweeted about vacationing in Thailand – followed by Perry's rather cryptic announcement (via Twitter), "pssst... I've got a secret. HUGE news coming in a couple days!!!" on Thursday.

In her original Tweet, posted on Tuesday, Perry, 24, wrote, "After a week in magical Thailand I'm ready to face the real world again – been schooled on Morrissey, Oscar Wilde and Peter Sellers ... inspired." Brand, 34, known for his literary wit, meanwhile, wrote the same week, "I'm in Thailand, is it right for non Buddhists to visit temples? Is it ok to snog the statues?"

Whether they were together in Thailand or not, they were definitely together in London on Friday where the pair were photographed walking side-by-side.



As for Perry's "HUGE" news, she revealed it Friday via Twitter. "I'm hosting the MTV EUROPE MUSIC AWARDS AGAIN," she posted, "This time w/MORE outfits, MORE antics!"

Brand, too, has been an MTV host: He helmed the MTV Video Music Awards for the past two years, and appeared onstage with Perry this year. At the September ceremony, the two were rumored to have shared a kiss.

When reached, Perry's rep declined to comment on her client's personal life. Brand's rep did not return a request for comment.
