Kate Gosselin isn't taking Jon's alleged swiping of $230,00 from their joint bank account lying down. She's fighting back.

A lawyer for the reality-show mom, 34, filed papers Monday in a Pennsylvania county court to force Jon, 32, to return the $230,000 he allegedly took from their bank – leaving Kate with only $1,346 to pay bills for herself and eight kids, RadarOnline reports.

"If I have to work at McDonald's, I will do what I have to for my kids," Kate said by phone on The View the same day.

Kate's attorney also asked that Jon be found in contempt of court, according to Radar. An arbitrator had ruled that neither spouse could access money in the account, except for Kate to pay for household bills.

Kate spent much of Monday on the talk-show circuit in New York City, explaining how she's been unable to pay the bills since Jon emptied the bank account.
