He's funny ... and romantic!
Vince Vaughn got engaged to Kyla Weber earlier this year – and not just on any day.
"Valentine's Day rolled around and I figured this is not a ship to be missed," Vaughn, 39, tells Ellen DeGeneres during a visit to her talk show scheduled to air Monday, "because I will not forget this date." "So Valentine's Day was the day that I asked her," he continues. "[It] worked out great because it would have been kind of weird to have talked about [getting engaged] and then skipped Valentine's Day as if who knows when this thing is coming."
The Couples Retreat star, who tells DeGeneres he his fiancée had been dating for a year and half before getting engaged, says the couple had discussed marriage before he actually popped the question. "We talked about [it"]," he says. "I knew we were both kind of in [agreement] with it."
Weber, a real estate agent, makes Vaughn "laugh," he tells the talk show host. Says Vaughn: "She is wonderful. I'm just thrilled."
