Jon and Kate Gosselin arrived separately Tuesday to meet with their attorneys and a court-appointed arbitrator to hammer out financial issues in their contentious divorce.
When all was said and done, a new court date was set: Oct. 26. Judge Arthur Tilson also asked the couple to work something out amicably.
Kate, who is seeking child and spousal support, has accused Jon of taking $230,000 from the family account. Jon has denied the withdrawals were inappropriate and wants Kate to account for more than $100,000 in withdrawals of her own.
Judge Tilson wants any money that's been taken out of the account inappropriately to be returned immediately. He also told the Gosselins on Tuesday that he realizes they want their privacy, but the Oct. 26 hearing will be public.
