Taylor Swift & Taylor Lautner
Ever since Taylor Swift, 19, and Taylor Lautner, 17, locked lips filming Valentine's Day, tongues have been wagging that they have a real-life romance brewing. Speculation heated up at Swift's Chicago-area concerts Oct. 9 and 10—both attended by the Twilight hunk. After reportedly leaving club Le Passage together at 3 a.m. Saturday morning, the pair shared an extended onstage embrace that night. "We saw her hug this guy for a long time, as if she knew him very well," says a concertgoer. "Then everyone saw who it was and just freaked out." Though an insider downplays the incident, telling Scoop, "They are friends," the stars have not been hiding their affection. "Of course [Swift] is hot," Lautner told Access Hollywood. "I love him. He's so cute!" Swift has said. And that onscreen kiss? She told a blog: "It was life-changing!"
Christie Brinkley & Peter Cook
The latest legal battle between Christie Brinkley and her ex-husband Peter Cook ended Oct. 13, but not before some last-minute courtroom drama. A judge refused to approve an agreement reached between them until the supermodel showed up in court, which she did two hours later. Even as the once picture-perfect couple appeared to resolve their differences, their war of words continued outside the courtroom. Brinkley's lawyer Peter Caronia accused Cook of conducting a "relentless smear campaign" against Brinkley, while Cook's attorney Steven Kuhn blamed her for failing to turn over their son Jack's passport in time for a school trip with his dad, which she denied. Asked her reaction to the settlement, Brinkley replied: "Google 'divorcing a narcissist.'" To which Cook countered, "I'll accept 'narcissist' over parental interference."

A tabloid report claims that Britney Spears, 27, now sober for more than a year, will soon be heading into court for a battle with ex Kevin Federline, 31, over custody of their sons Sean Preston, 4, and Jayden James, 3, whom the report claims have been turned into "ill-mannered boys" by their father. Not so, says a source close to the singer: "Despite their differences she wants to make sure they are both a part of the kids' lives."

DATING ONE OF HIS WRITERS!
Jimmy Kimmel has rebounded from his split in March from Sarah Silverman—with one of his show's staffers. A source says the Jimmy Kimmel Live! host, 41, has been dating co-head writer Molly McNearney, 31, for several months. Their relationship may draw comparisons to the Letterman scandal, but the source says "during work hours, they keep things professional." McNearney, who joined the show's staff in July 2003, was promoted to her current job in May 2008.
