WHY WRITE THIS BOOK?
I've been portrayed as this older, abandoned, embittered ex-wife, which is so false. Fifty percent of the population goes through divorce. If I can help by sharing information, I'm up for it.
WAS YOUR SPLIT HARD ON YOUR SON JACK, NOW 11?
He went into a closet with BBQ tongs (for some reason, he was obsessed with them) for an hour after we told him. It was awful. Now, he's fine.
DO YOU AND DEAN SHARE CUSTODY?
I'm adamant about Jack not shooting [Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood], so we have complications. I have primary custody. I try to keep Jack's life as routine as possible. I've had to explain to his father why Jack cannot wear $200 jeans.
HOW'S YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH TORI?
Anything involving my son, I will be civil. I still find it shocking at times. Other times I think I dodged a bullet. My life is intact, I'm healthy, and I have an opportunity to tell my story.
