>• What the stars are reading to their kids

JESSICA ALBA AND HONOR, 15 MONTHS: "I read everything to her! Goodnight Moon ..."

ANA ORTIZ AND PALOMA, 3 MONTHS: Ortiz says she and Ugly Betty costar America Ferrara "are both voracious readers; we're always exchanging books. She gave me one of my favorite baby gifts, which was basically stocking Paloma's library: 30 or 40 books. She was like, 'We have to make her a reader like we are!' One is a story called Corduroy, about a teddy bear. Don't get me started, I'll start weeping! Read it—it's fabulous."

NIA LONG AND MASSAI, 8: "He's really into baseball, so we've been doing loads of baseball stuff. Magic Tree House is a big one. And Mad Libs!"

CINDY CRAWFORD, KAIA, 8, AND PRESLEY, 10: "They both like the Judy Blume Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing, which is the type of book that I can read to them every night and they still enjoy. She just gets kids, that author—all their quirki- ness and stuff that's scary or annoying to them."
