Who's that man in black?

It's James Franco, looking suitably enigmatic for his guest-starring stint as a character on General Hospital.

Little is known about the role that Franco, 31, will play, except that he is associated with one of the show's bad guys, criminal Jason Morgan. Franco's first appearance is slated for Nov. 20.

It's not the only trip the Freaks and Geeks star – who was Oscar-nominated as Best Supporting Actor for Milk – is making back to TV land. He will also star as himself in an episode of 30 Rock, where he will be dating Jane Krakowski's fame-hungry character in a relationship arranged by their agents.
