Chris Brown's third album Graffiti has moved up its release date one week, from Dec. 15 to Dec. 8, his Jive Records label has announced, reports Billboard.com. No reason was given.

The 20-year-old R&B musician's former girlfriend, Rihanna, will still precede him into the stores by two weeks with her latest album, Rated R. The pop diva, 21, will also perform at the 37th Annual American Music Awards on Nov. 22 on ABC, PEOPLE reported exclusively Wednesday.

Brown's single, "I Can Transform Ya," has been on the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop songs chart the past five weeks and is currently No. 16.
