The kangaroos have a new reason to jump: Britney Spears has landed in Australia.

"Longest flight ever but we had a great time ... So excited to be here," the pop star, 27, Tweeted upon landing in Sydney just after 6 a.m. Thursday morning.

Spears then promptly boarded another jet, a private one this time, to head across the continent for Perth, where she will perform the first concert of her 15-show Circus tour in the country on Friday.

This being Britney Spears, she has already brought controversy with her. She's getting criticism in the Australian media for lip-synching much of her shows while charging up to $1,360 for tickets.

And she didn't leave Los Angeles without causing one last American ruckus, either. On her way to catch the Australia flight, photographers caught her getting through security at LAX airport while sucking down a huge Big Gulp drink – a big no-no for any average Joe.

The media have also noted that she's bringing quite an entourage with her: 225 crew members, 45 band members and dancers, and 15 circus performers travel with her for the concert, along with the 150 local workers the tour hires in each city in which it performs.
