How much does Nike love Tiger Woods? The shoe maker is paying him a reported $40 million to endorse its products – and now has given him a vote of confidence after Friday's car crash.

"Tiger and his family have Nike's full support," the company said in a statement Monday. "We respect Tiger's request for privacy and our thoughts are with Tiger and his family at this time."

Woods, 33, has backed out of his last golf tournament of the year, the Chevron World Challenge in California, citing unspecified injuries from the accident.
