Tiger Woods & Elin Nordegren 'SHE KNOWS THEY'RE DONE'
One day after Tiger Woods, 33, publicly copped to his infidelities in a statement on his Web site, Elin Nordegren, 29, paid a visit to the gas pump close to their home near Windermere, Fla.—without her wedding band. On Dec. 15 she was out to lunch, holding daughter Sam, 2, on her hip and clearly displaying her ringless finger. "She plans to leave Tiger," a source close to Nordegren tells Scoop. Adds another: "She's made up her mind. There's nothing to think about; he's never going to change." Indeed, a high-profile Florida divorce lawyer confirms that the Swedish-born former nanny and mother of two (Sam and son Charlie, 10 months) has inquired with attorneys about renegotiating the pair's prenuptial agreement—a contract that currently has payout terms contingent on the length of their union. Over the past two weeks, Nordegren has endured mother Barbro Holmberg's Dec. 8 hospitalization; a Dec. 11 visit from the Florida Department of Children and Families (a routine follow-up on a tip, an insider there says, that found nothing amiss with the Woodses' children); and witnessed a seemingly endless stream of mistresses emerge, including Theresa Rogers on Dec. 14. Despite Woods's Dec. 11 announcement that he's taking an indefinite hiatus from professional golf to focus on being a "better husband, father and person," his wife appears resolute. Sometime after the holidays, she may make her final decision, the Nordegren source says, and possibly take refuge in her new home in Sweden. Says the source: "He would have to become a different person for her to stay."

The Duggars' BABY DRAMA
Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar, stars of TLC's 18 Kids and Counting, were happily expecting to welcome their 19th child in three months. But in early December, when Michelle, 43, was rushed to the hospital because of gallbladder issues, it was found she had preeclampsia, which occurs in pregnant women and is dangerous to both the mother and the unborn child. Doctors at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences performed an emergency cesarean on Dec. 10. Weighing a meager 1 lb. 6 oz., daughter Josie Brooklyn Duggar is now in stable condition.
Despite the fact that premature babies may encounter eyesight, digestive, respiratory and developmental issues, Dr. Robert C. Hamilton, a Santa Monica pediatrician (who has not treated the Duggar baby), tells Scoop that the outlook for baby Josie is "encouraging. The survival rate for a premature baby born at 26 weeks is 82 percent." Meanwhile, a statement from TLC said, "the most important thing right now is for mom and baby Josie to get as much rest as possible. The family is grateful for all the prayers and well wishes during their recovery."
