Singing sensations Michael Bublé, Rod Stewart, Leona Lewis and JLS have all agreed to join voices to raise money for Haiti with a charity single.

As was announced Thursday, Simon Cowell is organizing the charity initiative, for which the stars will record a cover of REM’s ballad "Everybody Hurts."

Sir Paul McCartney, Robbie Williams and Coldplay are among those who also have been approached for the single, reports the BBC.

Meanwhile, other star-studded musical performances will be front and center Friday night for Hope for Haiti Now – the global telethon organized by George Clooney that will feature performances from Los Angeles, New York and London. In addition, CNN’s Anderson Cooper will report live from Haiti.
