>ZAC BROWN
Catch the 52nd Annual GRAMMY Awards
Sunday, Jan. 31, 8 p.m. ET/PT, live on CBS
The country star, whose Zac Brown Band is up for three awards including Best New Artist, adds chicken-fried flavor to the night.
BEST GRAMMY-VIEWING MEMORY
I've been on the road touring for the last 13 years, so most of the time I would be setting up my gear to play the night of the show, and I haven't gotten to watch. But I remember seeing Michael Jackson perform when I was much younger. It was always a family gathering at the TV to watch the show.
HIS GRAMMY DATE
My beautiful wife, Shelly. She's been taking care of our 4-month-old [Georgia] full-time, so she hasn't been able to come out too much. She's our stylist, and she's got great taste, so she'll pick out [what I wear]. It's not my strong point.
HIS DREAM GRAMMY DUET PARTNER
Cee-Lo from Gnarls Barkley is one of my favorite artists in the world. He's an insane singer, rapper and writer. He's also a [fellow] Atlanta guy, but I've never gotten to meet him. I don't know that one person can harbor much more talent than that guy.
THOUGHTS ON THE BEST NEW ARTIST CURSE
I'm not worried about that at all. We've been very blessed, and I don't feel anything would stop us from doing what we're doing. But I haven't really thought about it until now, so thanks for bringing that up!
