Since giving birth to twins Eden and Savannah three years ago, the Desperate Housewives star says she's let a few things slide – like returning phone calls.
"I have a lot of friends that I haven't called in three years!" says Cross, who nonetheless is making room for something else on her plate: She's signed on as spokesperson for Mott's Medleys, a new fruit juice that contains additional fruits and vegetables.
The actress says she struggles with getting her finicky kids to eat their fruits and veggies. "One of my daughters just wants pasta and carbs, so you have to be sneaky," she says.
And because staying fit is just as important to Cross as eating right, she has teamed with Mott's to support KaBoom, an organization that builds kids' playgrounds across the country. The actress, 47, says she always makes sure Eden and Savannah have plenty of playground time: "I just open up the gates and let 'em go."
But she won't let them go too far away. Before her twins were born, Cross recalls, "My sister said to me, 'Get ready for the greatest love affair of your life.' She was right."
