Dakota Fanning

Meet The Famous

Dakota Fanning celebrated her sweet 16th birthday with a sophisticated dinner party at Villa Blanca in Beverly Hills. The actress, whose big day is Feb. 23, was joined by 40 guests, including girlfriends from her cheerleading squad and her longtime private teacher. "Dakota looked adorable in a white blouse with a sequined, silver skirt and high heels," an eyewitness tells us. After guests sang "Happy Birthday," Fanning blew out the candles and thanked everyone for joining her for the Mediterranean-inspired dinner. Party guest Cherie Currie – whom Fanning plays in The Runaways – gave the actress a guitar sculpture, which she carved from a solid piece of wood. Says the eyewitness: "She seemed very excited and touched about celebrating her special day with her family and friends."

• Before catching the Richie Rich runway show in New York, Pamela Anderson stopped by the Hudson Hotel's Library Bar for drinks with the designer and an entourage. The starlet sported a white bathrobe over a silver bikini as she stopped in for some champagne before jumping in her waiting SUV, parked outside the hotel. Later, she returned to the penthouse, where she was staying, and requested bottles of tequila and more champagne.

• Dressed in matching fedoras, Diane Kruger and her boyfriend Joshua Jackson strolled through Berlin's largest flea and antiques market on Straße des 17. Juni. But the happy couple wasn't sporting matching outerwear: Kruger wore a warm black trench, while her beau sported a red and black lumberjack coat.

• In Sin City for the weekend, John Stamos enjoyed dinner and a show, stopping into Lavo inside the Palazzo with friends for drinks and seafood before catching comedian Don Rickles at the Orleans.

• File under: fun family day! Adam Sandler enjoyed lunch with wife Jacqueline and daughters Sadie and Sunny at Asia de Cuba in the Mondrian Hotel in West Hollywood. After the meal, the funnyman pushed his wife and girls on the hotel lobby's swing, creating a scene that an onlooker said was "very cute" and leaving his daughters giggling and smiling on the way out.
