Romantic dates on the French Riviera? Check. A talented, likeable female lead? Check. Car chases, shootouts and a shirtless Ashton Kutcher showing off his ripped abs? Triple check.
Katherine Heigl's new action/comedy, Killers, seems to have all the makings of a hit – not to mention Kutcher's character leads a double life as a hit-man.
"Let's just say that I work for the blah blah blah and they gave me a license to blah," Kutcher confesses to an astounded Heigl mid-getaway. He then orders her to "spread her legs" before slicing open her car seat to reveal a large handgun.
Heigl portrays the heat-packing novice who's a willing, yet bumbling, sidekick. In one scene of the movie, which is scheduled to hit theaters this summer, Kutcher says, "Sweetie, your gun is showing," to which an exasperated Heigl, yanking the ill-placed weapon from her waistband, responds, "Well, where do you expect me to put it? Have you seen the size of this thing?"
