In the video for her new song ""Window Seat," Erykah Badu leaves nothing to the imagination.
The singer, who released her album New Amerykah Part Two: Return of the Ankh Tuesday, strips off all her clothes and feigns being shot in the head in Dallas's Dealey Plaza – the same spot where John F. Kennedy was assassinated.
"The song 'Window Seat' is about liberating yourself from layers and layers of skin or demons that are a hindrance to your growth or freedom, or evolution," Badu, a local resident, explained to the Dallas Morning News. "I tied it in a way that compared the assassination to the character assassination one would go through after showing his or herself completely."
