ARE THERE SHARED VISIONS OF HEAVEN?

Lots of people imagine a city. Some say Boston or L.A. or New York. Others imagine it as a garden. Those are the most common images.

ANY MEMORABLE DESCRIPTIONS?

A friend said there would be white shag carpet that never got dirty. Albert Brooks thinks you get free parking if you're really, really good.

DO YOU BELIEVE?

Much more now than when I started the book. I met rational, lovely people who didn't have a cartoon version of heaven, so it didn't seem silly.

HOW DOES YOUR HEAVEN LOOK?

It's more a feeling for me-the feeling of perfection when I snuggle with my daughter. The feeling that life is a miracle.
