In the 30-second spot, Palin, 19, appears with son Tripp, 1, and asks several rhetorical questions, like, "What if I didn't come from a famous family?" and "What if I didn't have all these opportunities?" The PSA ends with Palin wearing a white T-shirt and minimal makeup in a bare-bones living room, with Tripp in the background. She says: "Believe me, it wouldn't be pretty."
She then advises viewers to "Pause … before you play."
Palin, who was pregnant during mom Sarah's bid as a vice-presidential candidate, has been an outspoken advocate for teen pregnancy prevention. "Girls need to imagine and picture their life with a screaming newborn baby and then think before they have sex," she told PEOPLE in a cover story last May. "Think about the consequences."
