Sandra Lies Low in L.A., Jesse's in Treatment ...
In the wake of the scandal that rocked her marriage, Sandra Bullock has been getting by with help from friends like comedian George Lopez, who visited her April 5 (he also saw her shortly after the news broke and tells Scoop she is "an amazing person ... We all love her"). In her first public outing since she moved out of the family house on March 15, Bullock, 45-her face obscured by an oversize floppy hat-headed to the home of another pal, L.A. businessman Gabriel Brener, on March 31. "He's a dear family friend," a source tells Scoop. While Bullock stayed out of sight, Jesse James remained at the facility where he had checked himself in March 26 "to deal with personal issues," says his rep. His kids Chandler, 15, Jesse Jr., 12, and Sunny, 6, are at the family's L.A.-area home under the care of relatives. Reports that James, 40, left treatment early are untrue, says his lawyer Joe Yanny, who added, "[James] is broken...and life as he knew it is over."
ARE CHRISTINA & JORDAN ON THE ROCKS?
When Christina Aguilera arrived ringless at L.A. hot spot Trousdale on March 23, it sparked buzz-and a tabloid report-that her four-year marriage to music exec Jordan Bratman "is in trouble." Not so fast, says a source close to the couple. "She's never been someone who wears her ring all the time. It's a fashion thing," the source tells Scoop. That night, Bratman, 32, and ringless Aguilera, 29, were spotted kissing and cuddling as they partied alongside celebs like Lindsay Lohan. "Like any couple who are trying to balance work and parenthood, they have their fights," says the source. "But they're still very much in love and together."

Nicollette Sheridan's HOUSEWIVES LAWSUIT
It's not a Desperate Housewives plotline-but it could be. On April 5 Nicollette Sheridan filed suit against the show's creator Marc Cherry, ABC Studios and Touchstone Television for $20 million, alleging assault and battery and wrongful termination. (Her character was killed last year.) Sheridan, 46, claims after she questioned a script in 2008, Cherry "forcefully hit her...across her face and head." Sheridan adds that after Teri Hatcher complained to ABC about Cherry, 48, he said he hoped she "gets hit by a car and dies." ABC Studios issued a statement: "While we have yet to see the actual complaint, we investigated similar claims made by Ms. Sheridan last year and found them to be without merit."
Last year Bruce Springsteen, 60, denied cheating on wife Patti Scialfa, 56, with Ann Kelly, a married woman from his Red Bank, N.J., gym. But the accusations continue: A report claims that Kelly's ex Arthur alleged in court papers that Springsteen complimented Ann Kelly's body and wooed her with concert tickets, meals-even PDA. (The adultery claim in Arthur Kelly's divorce petition was reportedly removed as part of a settlement.) Reps for Ann Kelly and Springsteen could not be reached; a rep for Arthur Kelly would not comment.
