"Everyone has marital problems," Spelling, 36, tells Ellen DeGeneres on Monday's The Ellen DeGeneres Show. "You know, you fight with your partner."
This isn't the first time Spelling delivered an on-air status update on her marriage. She also appeared on the April 5 Today show to dismiss divorce rumors, after footage from the fifth season of Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood, which premieres Monday on Oxygen, was leaked.
The clip reportedly shows Spelling telling her husband of nearly four years: "It's like you got more and more unhappy and angry. I just want the old Dean back. I really do. I miss you so much."
McDermott, 43, who also appears on DeGeneres's show, adds that earlier seasons of Tori & Dean focused on the running of their b&b and the raising of two children, while the current spotlight is on them as a couple.
"Now we're taking a close look at our relationship," he says. "And, really letting the viewers in to see what it's like."
