The reality star and daughter of Lorenzo Lamas tied the knot with Nik Richie, founder of TheDirty.com, over the weekend at the Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas, a source at the chapel confirms to PEOPLE.
Both Lamas, 24, and Richie took to Twitter on Monday to confirm the nuptials, posting identical messages: "I am more than happy to confirm last night I got married to an amazing person and we are extremely excited to share our lives together."
Earlier Monday, Richie also Tweeted, "married," while Lamas Tweeted the word "wife."
A source describes the couple's wedding as "beautiful," and says that legal ceremonies at the Little White Wedding Chapel typically last about 10 minutes. TMZ.com reports that the couple have known each other only a few weeks.
The newlyweds celebrated their marriage at the Vegas club Vanity, according to a source. The bridal party included Richie's employee Ari Golden and American Idol "swimsuit girl," Casey Carlson. Golden posted a message on his Twitter page Monday, "How come thedirty.com won't load? (Nik married Shayne Lamas last night. Servers overloaded!")
According to the source, Lamas showed off her ring while at the club, and the couple drank champagne before leaving together hand-in-hand.
Lamas's former fiancé, The Bachelor star Matt Grant, wishes his ex well, but also offers words of caution.
"I thought maybe she had learned from The Bachelor that rushed, one-week relationships and marriages don't work," says Grant, who is in New York for an auction benefiting the non-profit organization Flying Kites. "Best of luck to her. She's certainly quite a girl."
On his Facebook page, Grant also joked: "I don't know if I'd prefer to wake up in Vegas with Mike Tyson's tiger in my hotel room or wake up in Vegas with Shayne Lamas as my wife. Just kidding ;)."
This is the second marriage for Lamas's new husband, Richie, according to reports.
