White, 88, landed the hosting job after a fervent fan campaign on the Internet. But the Web is also full of idle gossip, she says – so she's putting to rest rumors about her love life.
When White hosts the show May 8, it will be her first time in Studio 8H. "I can't think of a better way to spend Mother's Day weekend than with Betty White," executive producer Lorne Michaels wrote on the SNL blog.
