"I'm thrilled that the Wilson Phillips family is coming back together again," says Phillips, 42, who entered a treatment facility for anxiety in February, five months after her half-sister Mackenzie Phillips claimed she had a sexual relationship with their father.
"We've known each other for more than 20 years," Chynna says of her bandmates. "We're like family. I'm excited about working with the Wilson sisters again."
The new album, due in October on Sony Masterworks, will feature classics such as "White Christmas," plus new, original songs. Wilson Phillips also kicks off its first tour in years Wednesday in San Antonio. Future tour dates will be announced soon.
"Christmas is a special time for all of us, especially because we now all have kids," Carnie Wilson tells PEOPLE. "That's why this is a perfect album for us."
