David Boreanaz had what looked to be a happy birthday celebration in New York City with his wife Jaime Bergman and young son Jaden.

The Bones star, who turned 41 on Sunday, was snapped leaving his midtown Manhattan hotel with his family. As for activities, the actor and his son, 8, took a day trip to Central Park – then later enjoyed dinner with the family.

Of course, not everything's been running smoothly in Boreanaz's world: He recently admitted to cheating on his wife. "I was irresponsible," he told PEOPLE earlier this month. "We're working on our marriage. We're working on repairing what has been damaged so badly."

Though Bergman recently told PEOPLE she's "still angry," it appears that the two are working on patching things up – and they're not shy about showing it. En route to New York on Saturday, the couple was seen sharing a kiss at Los Angeles International Airport before boarding their departing flight.
