GEORGE IS A GIANT!
He weighs 160 lbs. and is probably over 6 ft. standing on his hind legs. When he gets into a corner, he backs himself out and turns around. He has to maneuver a bit.
WHAT'S THE SECRET BEHIND TEACHING A DOG TO ACT?
We had "meat glasses." We put meat on a pair of eyeglasses and trained the dog to watch the actor during the dialogue.
HOW REAL IS THE SURFING SCENE?
One of the days he rode a wave. He actually can surf standing up, believe it or not.
DID HE HAVE ANY FRIENDS ON-SET?
His brother Spirit also plays Marmaduke. Spirit did the action scenes and George did the talking.
