David Beckham Goes from Soccer Star to Comic Book Hero

David Beckham

What does David Beckham have in common with Kristen Stewart, Ellen DeGeneres, Robert Pattinson and Lady Gaga? Besides their personal fame, they've all received the comic book treatment!

The soccer star is the latest getting his own book, Fame: David Beckham, due out in September from publisher Bluewater Productions, which is also releasing similar biographies of the Twilight stars and featured DeGeneres in their Female Force series.

Beckham's comic will bring his "amazing career to life, from his earliest days on the soccer field, when he dreamed of playing for Manchester United, to the challenges of his soccer days in the United States," Bluewater said Wednesday.

Fame: David Beckham will sell for $3.99 and can be found online at Amazon.com and in comic book stores. Will you grab a copy for your collection?
