Will Angelina Jolie Make the Best Cleopatra?

Angelina Jolie has filled a lot of shoes in her acting career, but can she walk like an Egyptian?

Let's hope so: The bombshell is one producer's top pick to play the Queen of the Nile. Oscar-winning producer Scott Rudin has purchased the film rights to the biography Cleopatra: A Life, USA Today reports. Rudin's office confirmed to the newspaper that the film "is being developed for and with Jolie."

But can Jolie compete with Elizabeth Taylor, who portrayed the smoldering Egyptian queen in 1963? Cleopatra: A Life author Stacy Schiff thinks so. "Physically, she's the perfect look," she says.
