Chace Crawford Charged with Pot Possession

Chace Crawford has been charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana, court records obtained by PEOPLE show.

The Gossip Girl star, 24, could face up to six months in jail if convicted, TMZ reports.

Crawford was arrested early morning on June 4 in a pub parking lot in Plano, Texas, after police found one marijuana joint in the car he was occupying.



Hours later, the actor was seen sharing lunch with two people at a sushi restaurant located in the same shopping center where he was arrested, a source told PEOPLE.

A rep for Crawford wasn't immediately available for comment.
