Caught in the Act!

• Courteney Cox, enjoying a little R&R – and L.A. sunshine – in her poolside cabana at the Avalon Hotel in Beverly Hills. The Cougar Town star spent time with some girlfriends, enjoying salad and other light fare from the hotel's Oliverio Restaurant. The actress looked "very happy and relaxed," a source says.

• Kris Allen may have been playing a gig in Albuquerque, N.M., on his 25th birthday, but the former American Idol champ still made time to celebrate. On stage, his friends and crew surprised him with a Cold Stone Creamery ice cream cake before he launched into his hit "Live Like We're Dying."

• Kanye West helped model Jessica White celebrate her 26th birthday after midnight at Avenue in N.Y.C. Joined by White's girlfriends, the group settled into a VIP area near the deejay booth, as DJ Reach spun some of the rapper's songs. Later in the night, after much dancing, Ed Westwick joined White's table for a minute, though he spent most of his time at the bar with a male friend.

• Nicole Kidman, having a business meeting at the Polo Lounge at the Beverly Hills Hotel with two men. The trio sat in a booth by the bar, with a good view of fellow patrons. The actress, sporting a dark v-neck sweater, sipped sparkling water and seemed upbeat and animated.
