And on an ABC reunion special, the sparring pair faced off about their failed relationship, hashing out several issues, including tension surrounding Girardi's dog, Chloe.
"My dog was sick, in the hospital with IVs in her, and what was the first thing you said? Do you remember?" Girardi asked her former flame. "Or should I quote you? 'I'm so sorry your dog is so spoiled she can only maintain one relationship at a time.' " Though Pavelka denied the allegations, Girardi called him a "liar."
While it's impossible to say what of their "he said, she said" tales were true, it seemed Chloe was a major point of contention in their six-month relationship. "I left everything to support you," Girardi told Pavelka. "I wouldn't have moved out here to L.A. with nothing, left my family ... my dog."
But according to Pavelka, he flew his ex-girlfriend's dog to L.A. to spend time with her – only to send her back to Girardi's Florida hometown once the un-potty trained pup had a few accidents.
We'll just side with the dog on this one.
