A FAMILY TORN APART
Actor Jeremy London's bizarre kidnapping tale-that he was held at gunpoint in Palm Springs on June 10 and forced to take drugs-is dividing his loved ones and testing their faith in the former Party of Five star, who's a recovering drug addict. Police have said they don't doubt London's version of the events, and one suspect, Brandon Adams, has already been charged with kidnapping. "This is real; Jeremy's still in shock," said his estranged wife, Melissa Cunningham, on June 21. But two days later London's twin brother, Jason, said, "His story doesn't add up. His behavior is indicative of when he's back on drugs. He needs help." Jeremy, 37, threatened to sue his family for "reckless public statements." Now Cunningham's support seems to be waning, and on June 28 she told Scoop, "I hope he makes a speedy recovery from this trauma. I want only the best for him."

Michael Douglas' ex-wife Diandra, 54, has filed suit in a New York court claiming half of Douglas' future earnings from his upcoming flick Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps. The measure cites terms in their 2000 divorce agreement stipulating "she gets 50 percent of anything he makes that's related to the films he made while they were married," says a source. Meanwhile Douglas, 65, is fighting the claim. The New York Post reports that his lawyer Marilyn Chinitz told the judge presiding over the case, "He doesn't want her to be an albatross around his neck forever."

More than a year and a half after her mother, brother and nephew were murdered, Jennifer Hudson is speaking out. "It's all a blur; it was surreal," she tells VH1's Behind the Music. "It was like I was outside of myself." To cope, the singer, 28, prayed morning and night during her two-week seclusion. "If I didn't, I'd wake up depressed," she says. Today her 11-month-old son David Jr. (with fiancé David Otunga) helps her remember her family. "My brother drives me in my music; [David Jr.] reminds me of my nephew," she says, adding that she wants her baby "to get the same love...as my mother gave us."
