That's because the rapper-producer, born Terius Nash, actually filed divorce papers in February – months before then-wife Christina Milian gave birth to their daughter Violet. The papers, which were obtained by TMZ, also says the couple was separated even prior to the filing.
The reason for the separation? "The marriage between the parties is irretrievably broken," the papers state. "There is no hope for reconciliation."
Milian and The-Dream were married in September. Reps for the two did not return requests for comment.
