Price, 43, and fiancée Jacqueline Klinger, 36, tied the knot at their home in Weston, Conn., Saturday, while guests like Katie Couric and Erica Hill looked on.
"It's really great to be able to come home to someone special now," Price tells PEOPLE. "It just puts everything in perspective and balances everything out. I'll be forever grateful that I met Jax."
And what about the bride?
"What I love most about him is his sense of family, loyalty and that he's genuine," Klinger says of Price. "What you see is what you get."
The newlyweds are currently spending their honeymoon on safari in Kenya, Zanzibar and Tanzania – before heading to Israel for a beach vacation.
