After almost eight years of marriage, the actress, 44, quietly filed for divorce from Young, a producer and manager, on July 20, her rep confirms to E! Online.
The couple plans to share custody of their 6-year-old daughter Catherine Rose.
"They will remain extremely close friends and will raise their daughter together," says her rep.
