• Lady Gaga enjoyed a beautiful view of the English Bay during her lunch with a gentleman friend at Vancouver's Rain City Grill. The pop star and her pal took a window seat in a quiet section of the restaurant, and Gaga ordered gazpacho, some local Salt Spring Island mussels and a seared Albacore tuna salad. For dessert? Some crème brûlée and coffee – before Gaga hugged her server and left.

• Katy Perry, feting her new album Teenage Dream with the first-ever bash at New York's newly opened Gansevoort Park Avenue Hotel. Guests congregated on the roof for the Candyland-themed soiree, which included a candy bar and dancing Gummi Bears. In keeping with the sweet theme, "Katy walked in to the party with a lollipop in her mouth," an onlooker says, adding that she cuddled with fiancé Russell Brand all night.

• Kim Kardashian and boyfriend Miles Austin, partying with pals at Drai's Hollywood. "They were having an amazing time together, dancing and hanging out with friends," an onlooker says. Also there: Whitney Port.

• Mary J. Blige and husband Kendu Isaacs, celebrating newlywed Swizz Beatz's YRB magazine's September issue at a Ciroc vodka sponsored bash. The couple sat in the VIP area near the deejay booth and bobbed their heads to many of the singer's classic tracks before sneaking out a side entrance.
