"This lawsuit is another unfortunate situation where someone is trying to take advantage of the Spears family and make a name for himself," reads a new statement about the case on Spears's official website.
The statement continues: "The Department of Children and Family Services conducted a proper investigation surrounding Mr. Flores' accusations and have closed the case without any further action. Ms. Spears and her attorneys have every expectation that this matter will be dismissed by the courts."
The guard, Fernando Flores, alleges that Spears, 28, emotionally scarred him by exposing herself to him, insulting him and threatening to fire him over a Slurpee.
The suit also claims that Spears engaged in sex acts in the presence of her two young boys – an allegation that the children's father, Spears's ex-husband Kevin Federline, said is baseless.
